Who is it suitable for?
Kusadasi suits those who want the Aegean Sea, proximity to Izmir, a more affordable resort, a European/British expat environment and seasonal living.
Districts
Kuşadası Center. Sea, port, cafes, shops, tourists, noise.
Ladies Beach. Beach, foreigners, apartments, seasonality.
Long Beach/Davutlar/Güzelçamlı. More space, beaches, quieter, car useful.
Where to be careful
Too touristy streets, houses without heating, summer rentals, winter emptiness in some areas.
Housing
Check seasonal conditions, humidity, heating, distance to the supermarket in winter. Summer areas can be very quiet in winter.
Cafe and food
Center/Marina: restaurants, bars, tourist cafes.
Ladies Beach: beach establishments.
Davutlar/Güzelçamlı: more family-friendly, nature, simple food.

- For permanent living, choose a place where there is life in winter.
- Izmir is nearby, but not “nearby” for daily activities.
- A good option between resort and accessibility.
